Katy Landis, a Licensed Educational Psychologist, boasts a distinguished career spanning over 12 years, deeply committed to working directly with families and students within the educational realm. Katy’s academic journey is impressive, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a Waiver of Completion in Liberal Studies from California Lutheran University. She further pursued her graduate education at Chapman University, where she attained a Master of Arts Degree in School Psychology, an Education Specialist Degree, and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential. She rounded off her academic achievements by completing all the requisite teaching courses for the Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at Cal State University, Long Beach.
Katy’s hallmark lies in her unwavering dedication to a student-centered and holistic approach. Her areas of specialization encompass a wide spectrum, including learning disabilities, ADHD/ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Behavioral Disorders, IEPs, 504 Plans, and Functional Behavior Analysis & Interventions, among other educational domains.
Outside of her professional role, Katy Landis finds fulfillment in her role as a wife and mother of three dynamic children in North County San Diego. Her personal pursuits embrace family time, outdoor activities, volunteering, and actively supporting her children’s interests and activities. On weekends, she’s often spotted shuttling between various sporting events, wholeheartedly cheering on her kids as they engage in basketball, baseball, lacrosse, and dance. Katy is an active member of professional organizations, with affiliations including the California Association of School Psychologists (CASP) and the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
