Miriam Ohana is a licensed speech-language pathologist committed to fostering children’s communication skills through a compassionate and personalized therapeutic approach. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of California, Irvine, and a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from California State University, Northridge.

With extensive experience spanning the evaluation and treatment of children from 18 months to 18 years old, Miriam specializes in early intervention, articulation and phonology disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, childhood apraxia of speech, and pragmatic language disorders. She is trained in PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) and Oral Placement Therapy, and was a certified provider of the Hanen Centre’s More Than Words program.

Beyond her direct client work, Miriam has supervised Clinical Fellows on their licensure journeys and mentored graduate students entering the field. Before becoming a speech-language pathologist, she spent six years as a special education assistant with the Beverly Hills Unified School District and taught English in Madrid, Spain. These experiences ignited her passion for empowering children to learn, communicate effectively, and build meaningful relationships. Miriam’s dedication to her profession shines through in her warm, client-centered care and her commitment to helping children reach their full potential.
