Meet Robyn Slipakoff, a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist at Cognitive Diagnostic Associates. With over two decades of experience in the field, Robyn brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice.

Robyn’s journey in the field of communicative disorders began in 2001 when she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Communicative Disorders from San Diego State University (SDSU). Recognizing her passion for helping others communicate effectively, she pursued further education and obtained her M.A. in communicative disorders from SDSU in 2003.

Throughout her career, Robyn has spent 21 years honing her skills and making a positive impact on the lives of her clients. She started her professional journey at San Diego Unified School District, where she gained valuable experience during her first year. Since then, Robyn has dedicated 20 years of her career to Capistrano Unified School District (CUSD), working with students across various age groups, from preschool to middle school.

Robyn’s expertise encompasses a wide range of impairments, from mild to moderate/severe. Her profound commitment to her craft shines through her work, particularly in the areas of articulation and language. She believes in the power of effective communication and strives to empower her clients to express themselves with confidence and clarity.

Recognized for her exceptional dedication, Robyn has received two Sunshine Awards from the District. These accolades were bestowed upon her by parents of special education students, a testament to the positive impact she has made on the lives of the children and families she serves.

Beyond her clinical practice, Robyn remains an active member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Her involvement in this esteemed professional organization reflects her commitment to staying current with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in the field.
