Wendy Flores is a highly experienced bilingual school psychologist currently dedicated to serving the San Bernardino area. She holds a B.A. degree in Psychology from Cal State Long Beach and an M.S. degree with a PPS Credential in School Psychology from National University. Wendy’s professional journey spans various school districts, where she has provided invaluable support to diverse urban and suburban student populations across Northern and Southern California.
Presently, Wendy excels in her role as a school psychologist at two prominent San Bernardino school sites. With a career spanning over a decade, she has honed her exceptional Spanish-speaking abilities and assessment skills, working seamlessly with students ranging from preschool to high school. Wendy’s expertise extends to a wide array of special education programs and assessments, including but not limited to Autism, Orthopedic Impairment, Non-public school programs, private schools, Emotionally Disturbed, Dual Immersion, Resource Specialist Programs, and Special Day Class programs.
Wendy’s passion lies in collaboration—she thrives on working closely with students and their families. She firmly believes that gaining insight into an individual’s unique cognitive profile is paramount in crafting the most effective and tailored plans, ultimately empowering them to reach their full potential. Wendy places a strong emphasis on clarity in her evaluations, ensuring that individuals and their families comprehensively grasp the implications within their educational and personal contexts.
Beyond her professional commitments, Wendy treasures quality time with her family. She and her spouse actively engage in a rich tapestry of extracurricular activities, from softball and t-ball to dance and basketball, all with the aim of fostering their children’s growth and development. Wendy’s personal interests include photography, exploring new destinations through travel, and searching flea markets for unique treasures. She is also a passionate advocate for human rights and social justice causes, continually striving to make a positive impact in her community and beyond.
