Prior to joining CDA, Jack established an extensive professional background in aviation operations, earning a diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology and obtaining professional credentials in aircraft maintenance. With more than eight years of experience in commercial aviation ground operations, he worked in highly regulated, safety-sensitive environments requiring strict adherence to established procedures, precise documentation, effective communication, and coordination among multiple operational teams. Throughout his aviation career, he maintained an exemplary safety record while managing complex, time-sensitive responsibilities.

Building upon this foundation, Jack developed a strong interest in special education and the legal and procedural frameworks designed to protect students’ educational rights. His background in regulatory compliance, procedural accuracy, and organizational coordination provided a natural transition into special education administration, where these same competencies are essential in navigating district agreements and ensuring adherence to established requirements. His interest in supporting students with diverse educational needs further motivated his transition into a field where attention to detail, effective communication, and an understanding of regulatory obligations can make a meaningful difference.

In his role at CDA, Jack demonstrates a strong command of the regulatory framework governing IEEs, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), district responsibilities, and applicable procedural requirements. He effectively communicates complex contractual and regulatory matters with school district representatives, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and precision throughout the agreement process.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Jack enjoys spending quality time with his wife and son, attending live rock music festivals, watching thriller series and Korean dramas, and maintaining an active lifestyle through walking and jogging.
